Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a highly qualified Branch Manager to lead a sales and service culture in all aspects of operations.  Build relationships with local businesses and select employer groups, while identifying ways to increase business.  Ensure successful coordination of daily branch operations and production.  Maintain adequate staffing levels, while ensuring staff is well trained and strategies are developed and implemented to guarantee quality standards are maintained to include quality of work and service.

  • Accomplish staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job results; coaching; counseling and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures and productivity standards.
  • Make recommendations for branch strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial service, and operations information.
  • Meet defined branch strategic goals, branch standards and objectives.
  • Maintain quality service by enforcing member service standards; analyzing and resolving quality and member service issues.

  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities on a daily basis
  • Great organizational skills, with strong problem solving and analytical abilities

  • Proven skills related to the accuracy in the use of numbers and their application in the processing and tracking of credit union transactions.

The Requirements:

  • Three to five years financial institution experience in teller, financial services or branch operations.
  • A minimum of two years supervisory or management experience in a financial institution.
  • Working knowledge of cash handling procedures, including account reconciliation and balancing. Working knowledge of credit union operations, products, and services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the Internet.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted as approved by management.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
